Wherever possible, evince is built upon common standards, used both within the public sector and more widely, the internet.  Export of childcare and services information is currently supported through schemas that Opportunity Links developed and published to the govtalk.gov.uk standards website.  These standards are being used as the basis for the ISPP interoperability framework.  Currently addressing in the system is maintained in a non-BS7666 format as a requirement to preserve the Ofsted addressing structure (which is non-compliant).  However, exports from the system can be mapped against BS7666.  The system also supports the requirements of the data protection act.

Data on children is not currently held in evince, and we believe this is best suited in the LAs ICS.  However , should it be necessary to hold such data we shall examine the case for support of the Contact Point integration.
